Chalet Isobel has partnered with Skihire2U to provide ski and snowboard equipment hire.  Skihire2U delivers your equipment to Chalet Isobel so you can sit back relax and wait for the equipment to come to you.  Pre-booking is essential - you can book the service here - and you don't need to pay anything until you arrive in resort.
 
Specialising in Salomon and Atomic brands, they have a wide range of skis and snowboards, from beginner and intermediate to all mountain high performance - so they will have the right ski for you.  All of their equipment is maintained to exceptional standards by qualified staff and the latest ski servicing technology.
 
On the day you arrive in Châtel an experienced ski technician will come to Chalet Isobel and personally fit your boots - checking stance, weight distribution and forward lean - to ensure they are correct and to make any alterations as necessary.  The boots are then fitted to the skis in accordance with your level and ability, including the type of skiing you will be doing.
 
If you require any alterations to your equipment during your stay, or if there has been a big snowfall and you need a powder ski a Skihire2U technician can come to Chalet Isobel and make the necessary adjustments at no extra charge, no matter how many times…..it’s all part of the service.
 
At the end of your holiday Skihire2U will collect your equipment from the chalet, so again there is no queuing in the shop and you can make the most from your remaining time in Châtel.

With an extensive range of skis and snowboards, expertise, knowledge and personal touch, Vertical Horizons' principal aim to is get you on the slopes with the best rental equipment with the minimum of fuss.  Their rental section also runs to specialist equipment such as avalanche packs, randonnee skis and boots, snowshoes, sledges and more.

 

The shop is located a short walk from Chalet Isobel - pre-booking is preferable as it will smooth your visit to the shop and ensure you have the material best suited to your skiing.  If you pre-book, your equipment will be reserved and waiting for you to collect on arrival in the resort.
